Welcome to Liz Handcrafted Soaps

Hello everyone! I (Judy) have some rather unpleasant news and there is no easy way to say this, so I will just tell it like it is. As of 9/30/14, our online store has been closed. Ken and I will no longer offer our soaps online because of changing priorities in our lives. What started out as a little soap hobby for me quickly grew to a full-time business. We have found ourselves with very little free time--not exactly what we had planned in our retirement. Due to an exceptional sellout at our most recent market, however, we made the decision to close the online shop earlier than we had planned, rather than update with dozens of annoying "Sorry, Out of Stock" comments. You may still contact us and order your favorite soap by phone, or you can also just come to one of our markets (see our schedule below). We do want to thank each and every one of you for your past support of our online shop.

For first-time visitors who may want to contact us or visit one of our markets, read on for information about our soaps.

Our fine ha
ndmade soaps are made with oils of olive, palm, coconut, avocado and castor, as well as shea butter, aloe butter or cocoa butter. We may use other exotic oils such as macadamia nut, hempseed, or flaxseed for special soaps. We use both essential oils and fragrance oils, and herbs and spices to make our creamy, long-lasting bars of soap. We use no hazardous ingredients in any of our products. Our soaps contain no artificial preservatives or additives. When we use colors, we use oxides and ultra-marines, not dyes, for we know many individuals are very sensitive to dyes. The only animal product we use in our soap is fresh goat milk from local farms to make our Goat's Milk & Lavender soap and our Goat's Milk & Lemongrass soap.

We can email a list of current soaps & descriptions to you if you contact us. As soon as the seasonal rush is past, we will include this information on this website for you.
